Help and answers.

Scripture Loom is a private, text-only browser with a reader mode, plus an offline scripture library, for iPhone.

Using the app

Reader

The Library holds the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price for offline reading. Each collection is optional in Settings. Search a phrase, or type a reference such as Alma 32:21, D&C 76:22, or Ps 23. The Library remembers the last chapter or section you read.

Sites

Type any website address or a search phrase, choose Wikipedia, 360info, The Public Domain Review, or Wikivoyage, or keep another site you read often with Add Website. Readable pages are presented as numbered passages with a chapter-style heading. Open Desktop Site in the ••• menu shows the regular page whenever you want it.

Topics

Browse fresh stories in five book-like collections: Religion, Science, Technology, History & Culture, and Good News.

Settings

Theme, Quiet Header, text size, line spacing, the web search provider, and Manage Sites, where you reorder, hide, or delete sites.

Questions

Why does a web page look like a chapter of scripture?

That is the whole idea: numbered passages, calm serif type, and no visual clutter. Scripture Loom gives almost anything readable the same quiet, familiar appearance.

Does Scripture Loom collect my browsing?

No. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no browsing-history database. Pages are transformed on your device and nothing is uploaded. See the privacy policy.

A site will not open, or shows a bot check.

Some websites refuse embedded browsers or require their own app. The reader then offers Back, View Original Page, and Open in Safari. Pages served only over plain HTTP do not load; Scripture Loom uses HTTPS only.

Does it bypass paywalls or logins?

No. The app reads only what a website already delivers to your device and does not bypass subscriptions, logins, paywalls, DRM, or other access controls.

Can I read without an internet connection?

Yes. The built-in scripture library works offline. Web pages and fresh Topics stories require a connection when you first open them.
