Let us be honest
When your attention wanders, Scripture Loom keeps the screen behind you calm. No thumbnail wall. No autoplay. No neon headline announcing exactly how far you have drifted.
Sunday School · 10:42 a.m.
The lesson may have lost the room. Your screen does not have to.
How it works
Type a web address, search for a topic, or choose a site you have saved.
Images, video, ads, and busy layouts disappear. The words become numbered passages.
Everything settles into the same calm, distraction-free reading experience.
The web, rewoven
Open an article and Scripture Loom keeps the words while setting aside the ads, thumbnails, video, and visual clutter. Headings become chapters, paragraphs become numbered passages, and the page feels at home beside your scriptures.

More than camouflage
Read the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, or Pearl of Great Price offline, then move naturally between scripture study and the rest of your reading.
Serif type, adjustable spacing, light and dark themes, and chapter navigation that feels at home.
Articles and discussions become clean text with links and headings that still feel natural.
No account, ads, tracking, or browsing-history database. Reading stays on your device. In version 1.0.2, you can opt in to a temporary “app is open” signal for the live audience count on the Reader landing page and website.
A private little miracle
One optional anonymous counter. Your reading stays on your device. While the tally is on, the app sends a temporary random ID and open/closed status to our counter at count.scriptureloom.com. Its server keeps these records only in memory and forgets them after five minutes without a signal. No page content or notebook entries are sent to us. It is on by default and can be turned off in Settings > Live Tally.

That is certainly one use. It is also a genuinely pleasant way to read long articles anywhere you want fewer images, interruptions, and visual clutter.
No. Scripture Loom reads only what the website already delivers to your device. It does not bypass subscriptions, logins, paywalls, DRM, or other access controls.
Yes. The built-in scripture library works offline. Web articles naturally require a connection when you first open them.
It is our playful name for participating app sessions, regardless of anyone’s beliefs. In version 1.0.2, it is on by default and can be turned off in Settings > Live Tally. A temporary ID and open/closed status estimate how many participating sessions are active; no reading content is sent. Records expire after five minutes without a signal, and the website badge appears at ten or more sessions. The app also hides the count below ten active sessions. Each website visit shows a snapshot; the app’s Reader landing page refreshes while visible. The count stays out of chapters and articles. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Live Tally.
Anyone looking over your shoulder will see calm, scripture-style text. We cannot promise they will not ask which chapter has a section on fantasy football.
